Justin (fondly known as Bed Hair Guitarist) has led a diverse and inspiring career as both a guitar instructor and performer.

With over a decade of teaching experience under his belt, Justin possesses a flair for teaching and a proven track record of helping students achieve their music goals. Equipped with a diverse repertoire of musical techniques, Jstin excels in conducting both individual and group classes and workshops.

He adeptly tailors his curriculum to meet students at their current stage in their guitar journey, delivering personalized and effective learning experiences that cater to students’ individual needs.
Apart from employing engaging teaching methods to impart his musical prowess to his protégés, Justin possesses a remarkable portfolio of performances, ranging from gigs at renowned entertainment venues to both local and regional cultural events.
He performed at the 13th Johor Bahru Arts Festival in 2017 as part of a Folk Blues trio with Carol Gomez and Kelvin Ng. From 2016 to 2018, Justin provided strolling performances for the Registry Of Marriage’s Valentine’s Day celebrations. In 2018, he also played live music at the Registry of Marriage’s Golden Jubilee Weddings celebration at the Istana, which featured both strolling and live band performances.
In addition to these engagements, Justin participated in the "Fantasy Comes Alive!"
Anime and Video Games Concert on April 30th and May 1st, 2010. He showcased his talents at the Esplanade Jazz Weekend in September 2011. Justin has also performed alongside singer-songwriter Bevlyn Khoo on various occasions. As a musician and band leader for the prolific Electro Pop artiste Eli. Tee in 2012, Justin recorded guitar tracks for the songs "Imaginary" and "Fallen."
Justin has also dazzled crowds at various venues like Switch, Timbre, Wala Wala and the Esplanade, working as a Sessionist alongside countless artists and event companies.
Accolades and Academic Qualifications
Justin's accolades include graduating from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California, where he earned an Associate Degree in Guitar Performance and studied under prominent guitarists such as Jinshi Ozaki, Daniel Gilbert, and Sid Jacobs. He was also awarded the Hardship Scholarship in recognition of his outstanding academic performance. Additionally, Justin holds an Associate Diploma in Electric Guitar from the University of West London and a Bachelor of Arts and Social Science from the National University of Singapore (2010).
